Shining a light on outstanding Asian female sporting role models - from Singapore, Japan, and the Philippines, who are increasingly becoming more assertive and active in a way that goes beyond the arena, this one-hour documentary examines obstacles faced by female athletes and how we are making headway. Women's sport has come a long way but there is still a long way to go. Looking at the impact of increased visibility of women's sport and its social, cultural, and economic implications, we find out why with everyone playing a part - competition organisers, institutions, brands, sponsors, and the media, the five-year-old girl, aspiring to be an athlete, has hope.
